Squadron Kids' Christmas Party

The Communications Squadron here in Hawaii already seems to have lots going on.  The holidays are good for that.  There is usually a desire to have the spouses get together at times throughout the year and in an effort to fund outings and such the squadron has had dessert auctions.  The spouses bake for the auctions and I made some Red Velvet Cake Pops and some Peanut Butter Fudge.

Santa comes to visit the kids and brings them a present.

I don't think Jackson and Max have ever really been afraid of Santa:)

Jackson got some new superheroes:  Hawkman, an old version of Green Lantern and the Flash, and the Martian ManHunter.  He only asked for the Hawkman in his letter to Santa.

Max was SUPER excited to get the whole Wolverine getup he asked for in his letter to Santa.  I wish I would have gotten his reaction when he opened it on camera.

All the goods for the dessert auction.

Auctioneer with one of the two baskets of cake pops that I made.

Mike got a great deal on this basket of pops.  The second basket brought a high bid, as we gave one to a friend to try and he was all about getting the other basket, lol.

Wolverine at home.  Check out those claws!!
