Homeschool math, silly fun

We currently use Singapore Math in our homeschool.  Jackson finished the curriculum for first grade and at the back of the book there are a bunch of suggestions for "Math Activities."  Doing "Math Activities" became kind of a thing at our house.  A thing wherein Jackson insisted that we do "Math Activities" even though Mike and I had already been through all the ideas at the back of the book and our brains ended up broken trying to think of other "Math Activities" that would satisfy our little math wiz.

On this day we ended up using all the little cars we own.  We separated them into color groups and then used those numbers for words problems involving addition and subtraction.  Max joined us for some counting and simple addition and subtraction problems as well.

And of course, to make the whole experience nice and silly by wearing a bucket on his head.

I love these days with my boys.
