These pictures are back from February 2nd. Our bean plants are apparently pole beans. I guess I either didn't read the package closely enough or the idea of pole beans was unclear somehow. Anyway, Mike took a stick and balanced it on the tomato cage (which was between two bean plants), which gave them something to climb.
A little zucchini growing. The zucchini plant is huge and totally feels out of control. Two other little zucchinis have rotted off this plant, so we were not sure what to expect from this one.
We had the boys stand next to everything to put the plants' size in context.
Arugula
Max next to the tomato plants. He is not that much taller than they are.
Some kind of really spicy pepper Mike wanted to grow.
Tomatoes we started from seed. I just transplanted them into a bigger pot because there is no room in the garden box for them.
