Yesterday we planted yet more things in our garden box, which included some carrots. Max was super excited about this and he said he could not wait to see what they look the next day. How quickly he forgot our lessons from when we first planted vegetable seeds! Anyhow, we talked again about seeds taking some days to germinate and he again thought this whole concept was very neat.
When Mike arrived home from work Max very excitedly told him about planting the carrots and then said, "Daddy, did you know carrots don't grow overnight??"
The boys were playing an Xbox Lego game with Mike, which involves Marvel Superhero characters fighting the bad guys. At some point in the game they went down in the subway and Jackson shouts, "Dad, are we (as in the characters) going to eat here?" Lol, he only associates "subway" with the restaurant!
Max wanted some candy, which led to him getting out some Pez (which, when he received it from Aunt Cara at Christmas he shouted out, "SPEZ!!! I got Spez!!") So, there was that super funny. Then, he is digging through the drawer and says, "Mom! I can't find my Spiderman Pez expenser." He meant dispenser. I love kids' misnomers:)
